Giving Tuesday is November 28, 2023 this year.
The Green Mountain Conservancy, in its efforts to continue acquiring and preserving lands that enable wildlife and forest ecosystems to flourish, is asking for your help on this day. We have 2 GlobalGiving campaigns where donations will be matched, allowing us to raise even more funds so that we can continue our mission.
The Deer Run Nature Preserve fund will contribute to the purchase of an additional 30 acres of land that is contiguous to the existing Deer Run Nature Preserve. This small parcel hosts unique natural communities, a multitude of plant and animal species and is a critical wildlife corridor from the Green to the White Mountains.
The Green Mountain Conservancy Land Conservation fund was established to allow Green Mountain Conservancy to act quickly when opportunities to acquire new lands to conserve arise and to contribute to the conservation and maintenance of lands under our care.
